Built with a tumbled leather upper, exposed external stitching, and a cork footbed, it minimized the use of adhesives and created a natural, handcrafted aesthetic. The entire upper was sewn together with a single hemp shoelace and fastened directly to the sole—an approach influenced by the ancient Albanian Opanek construction method. Made without any glues or chemicals, the Longball Lace was completely biodegradable and fully sustainable, allowing 100% of its components to be recycled. The combination of moccasin-like construction and Footscape-style asymmetry made it both functional and visually unconventional.
