THIS IS A WINE CLUB MEMBER-ONLY WINE. YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF OUR WINE CLUB TO PURCHASE. The 2006 vintage benefited from abundant winter and spring rainfall, followed by a warm, dry summer that allowed the fruit to ripen beautifully. Harvested at optimum ripeness, the grapes were fermented with careful temperature control and regular pumping over to build colour, flavour and tannin. The wine was then matured for 13 months in predominantly American oak hogsheads, complemented by French oak, before final blending and bottling. WINEMAKER'S NOTES COLOUR: Deep red with slight purple tinges. AROMA: Ripe plum and black fruit aromas combined with subtle vanillin oak. PALATE: Rich blackberry fruit flavours balanced by fruit and oak tannins, giving great length of flavour to the wine. ABV: 14.5% REGION: Rutherglen, Victoria, Australia SIZE: 750mL
