This is a new aftermarket improved 2009 Kymco MXU250 CDI Unit which replaces the factory CDI Unit This unit has some improvements over the stock unit: The unit is protected against overvoltage from a bad regulator rectifier, battery, ignition coils and reversing the battery connections There will be a smoother acceleration when revving the up the engine This is a digital unit which is more accurate which is not affected by temperature changes It has an optimized performance curve which should give you more power. When the battery voltage changes this ignition unit will change the control to the ignition coil(s) so the spark power will stay the same.
