With time in bottle it is beautiful, showing elegance, poise and finesse. Purple-red in colour,the nose shows subtle perfume of violets mixed with bramble berry, plum fruit while b alanced oak is visible only with chocolate, spice are cedar notes. The palate is seamless and silky smooth with controlled concentration, fine grainy tannin and a long, long finely textured finish. It does not feel the need to trumpet its existence like the 2008 or 2010 and remains one of the most approachable Cabernets Juniper has made.
