We pressed this tea in 2011. It was strong and powerful at the time, and remains so to this day. We recently brought the last few cakes of this out of our Malaysian warehouse. It h as been stored in Malaysia since 2014 and has developed nicely aged flavours. This tea is not for the faint hearted. It's made with bitter ancient trees from Manmu in southern Bulang. The leaves are strong with lots of fat buds. In the mouth it's thick, rich, powerful with a strong bitter backbone and strong qi. This tea benefits from using less leaves and quick infusions to tame the bitterness. Show more
