A savoury, rustic wine that speaks about the warmth of the Barossa Valley’s earth. Rich in spice and full of fruit with a backbone of dusty tannin. This variety is known by many na mes, including Mourvèdre (as previous vintages of this wine were called). The 2012 vintage was ideal in the Barossa Valley. The preceeding wet summer and winter gave high sub-soil moisture levels. A thick skinned grape variety rich in spice and depth. With a nose steeped in white pepper the palate follows with blueberries and mulberries. Gently savoury though classy. Show more
