The Collings 00 is one of the most versatile, playable, and well-balanced small-body guitars available on the market. Drawing from guitar designs that date back to the Civil War era, Collings produces the 00 in its original 12-fret configuration. Similar in size and feel to many classical guitars, the Collings 00 sports a slotted headstock and smaller pyramid bridge. With its wide string spacing and modern playability, it is a comfortable guitar that you'll want to pick up every day. This Collings 001 Mh (serial #24513) features all-mahogany construction for warm, rich tone with punchy mid-range character. Like all Collings 00s, its tone remains nicely balanced with impressive bass response. For a mahogany guitar, it has more complexity than you'd expect thanks to the 12-fret design. This Collings 001 Mh was made in 2015. It has been played-in, so it shows some minor play wear in some of the obvious spots (picking area, bass edge of lower bout, etc). The worst are some marks to the back of the neck, where the guitar leaned against a hard edge without a guitar stand (see photos). The previous installed a K&K Pure Mini pickup as well as a strap button on the heel. Its tone is rich and refined, and it includes the original case.
