We picked a happy medium for hood tip placement and under hood routing on these stacks. On the 17-19 trucks the stack will sit close to the rear cowling but will clear the passenger side cowling. For that reason we recommend an octagon hood stack tip so the tabs can be bent to accommodate for any cowlings that may be close to the exit location of the stack.
