100% Aglianico. Grown in Sannio Campania at 1,320 feet altitude from 24 year old vines. After the incredible success of Montevetrano Ricardo Cotarella & Silvia Imparato decided to make a wine more typical of the territory with this 100% aglianico. The wine undergoes 10 months of aging in new french bariques before 4 months of bottle aging. Only 20,000 bottles are produced. 13% ABV. TASTING NOTESA fresh and dynamic wine. Rich, spicy, fruity and elegant. Black cherry and liquoricearomas, well balanced acidity, subtle accents of dried herbs, blackberries.FOOD PAIRINGSThis wine makes an excellent pairing with salami, sausages with broccoli, lamb,grilled tenderloin, as well as per pasta with beans.
