The Shaws Road Chardonnay is a rich soft wine created in the French style (that is, stored in French oak barrels for 12 months), produced from the vineyards located at Arthurs Cree k and Eltham. Lightly oaked Chardonnays such as the Shaws Road example will have a hint of stone fruit (e.g. apricot) and vanilla – utterly delicious. Pair well with smoked fish, spicy south-east Asian cuisine, and guacamole dips. The wine is ready to drink now but will cellar for a further 4-5 years. Show more
