The EarthQuaker Devices Afterneath is described as an "otherworldly reverberator," and until you try it for yourself, you've never experienced another effect pedal quite like it. The Afterneath uses a swarm of cascading digital delays to create thick ethereal textures of sound. It can sit underneath your dry signal, or it can completely take over and turn your instrument into something entirely new. The ambient tones it produces are sure to inspire new music and new ideas, too. The V3 iteration of the Afterneath introduces the "Mode" knob, which changes the way the "Drag" knob functions. It's an exciting control that adds intriguing octave/interval functions to the sound. It can also be controlled by an external Expression Pedal (we recommend the Dunlop DVP4). This 2021 EQD Afterneath is gently used and in excellent condition. It functions 100% as it should, and it appears not to have been stepped on very much. It includes its original box and paperwork.
