CCM building on the success of the previous P2.9 pad while improving on areas that were needed they have made the new Axis A1.9 pad which with our Source Exclusive upgrades found here have made it even better. The source exclusive pad offers an upgraded knee block that features an HD & PE foam compared to the stock PE foam, this improves the stability while down in the butterfly for an even better seal, we also have an exclusive single internal & external break construction for that game ready feel while still keeping the pad structurally sound through the course of the season. Going with the trend of most pro goalies this pad has no boot strap to allow the pad to move independently on your leg while moving in to the butterfly position. To help get you through the crease quickly the full exterior of the pad is made from CCM’s SpeedSkin material that will offer improved slide through the crease while down in the butterfly.
