Sunland Vineyard — organic farming practicesYakima Valley AVA Our small Counoise block was harvested in early October as temperatures started to cool down in Yakima. Like most of o ur red fermentations, we chose to macerate and ferment the grapes with the stems intact. The resulting wine was aged in neutral French oak for 2 years before bottling. Deep cherry, damp earth, and white pepper aromas emanate from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied and very fruit forward with an ambience of spice and pepper.
