Nelumbo nucifera — bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber. Pixie dust magic. This tiny miniature lotus is perfect for a small bowl on your patio or on an outside window sill. The sweet little pink flowers are about 2" wide and the plant is usually less than 10" tall in a 3 gallon pot (11' wide, 7" deep) but it will grow in a much smaller container. Remember - never let it dry out! We suggest using the pot-in-pot method when growing this lotus in a pot less than 8" wide -- see below.
