Rebula, also known as Ribolla Gialla in neighbouring Italy, is an ancient white grape variety believed to have originated in the borderlands of present-day Slovenia and northeastern Italy. It thrives here, and in Simčič’s hands it becomes something beautifully refined, fresh, mineral and unmistakably rooted in Brda.
