The palate opens with clarity, ripe fruit fleshyness and drive, framed by lively acidity. Silky in texture, it moves with ease across the mid-palate, the tannins finely woven and unobtrusive. Subtle pepper spice adds lift before a finish marked by refined, savoury bitters that lends both length and distinction.The clay soil and the 20 day maceration added suave tannins and the ageing in cement for 9 months helped to round out and meld the 4 varieties.
