Imported from Japan. This is the Official Banzuke (roster and ranking of wrestlers) for the May 2023 Grand Sumo Tournament held at the Kokugikan in Tokyo. This tournament was won b y Terunofuji (his 8th). Gonoyama won his 1st Juryo championship. Kiribayama's win record positioned him for promotion to Ozeki after the tournament. The sole Yokozuna listed on this Banzuke is Terunofuji. The sole Ozeki is Takakeisho. Sekiwake are Kiribayama, Hoshoryu, Daieisho, and newly promoted Wakamotoharu. Komusubi are Kotonowaka, Wakatakakage, and Shodai. You can find a list of all the wrestlers here in English and Japanese. This Banzuke has NOT been folded.
