“A fun wine that’s surprisingly clean, bright and cheerful on the nose with notes of tangerine, citrus zest, peaches and subtle earthy/savoury notes. It’s lively on the palate with light tannins, pulpy grapefruit and lemon, fresh orchard fruits and a fresh, zesty finish. The 2023 is at 15 ppm SO2 as we found this was just enough to keep the open bottle fresh once opened, while still maintaining a fresh and vibrant nouveau style. 2023 growing season was an EPIC season! Filled with plenty of challenges in the summer — lots of rain, high humidity and lots of heat. In September, the season flipped on its head and we were given the most beautiful ripening season. Grapes showed amazing concentration of flavour and great retention of acidity. The best!! Zesty lemon juice with yeasty brioche notes and layers of grapefruit on the nose. The palate has flavours of pomelo with mid-palate weight and a fresh uplifting finish that encourages you to go back for another sip.
