How it tastes Creamy, with delicate citrus aromas and hints of hay, fresh nuts and toasted almond. Dry and beautifully balanced with a nutty, spiced finish. The producer Andrea di Pec was nephew to Frederico d'Attems, Chancellor of Gorizia in 1540, and renowned as a teacher of viticulture to the growers around him. Friuli is where Italian Pinot Grigio is genuinely worth drinking. Food and drinking Good with seafood, salads and poultry & pork. Ready now, and will hold for a few years yet. Serve at 8–10°C.
