The Ribolla Gialla is a blend from 2 different vineyards - both the first harvest from the young vines at Margett Vineyard and our estate. The grape originates from the Friuli Vene zia Giulia region of Italy and is also grown in Slovenia. We were very curious to see what this wine would do with skin contact, so we destemmed into an amphora. It is more tannic and heavier on the palate with chamomile and sour apple flavors. It will need some bold flavors to stand up to the structure of the wine like Indian or Asian flavors. Show more
