White grub damage can be extremely devastating resulting in extensive turf loss and costly repairs. White Grub Control effectively targets the larva when they are most vulnerable. A granular insecticide is applied to the affected area of the lawn to reduce the population down to a manageable level. Grubs live in the soil and feed on the roots of the grass plant. Turf that has been damaged by white grubs will lift away from the soil easily because the roots have been eaten, and they no longer anchor the turf to the soil. In many instances, damage to the lawn is from the animals such as raccoons, skunks, and birds that aggressively rip up, dig, and tear away at the surface of the lawn in an effort to feed on the white grub larvae themselves.
