A sparkling wine made from 100% Hunter Valley Chardonnay grapes, harvested early to retain the acid spine which is so important to this style. Made using the Charmat method which a llows the fruit to shine, this wine has a strong, fine bead and is pale straw in colour. The wine possesses aromas of green apple, citrus, and peach and just a hint of bready yeast character. The palate has flavours of green apple, pear and citrus and possesses a dry and long acid finish. It is a good accompaniment with appetisers, seafood, or poultry dishes or it can also be enjoyed by itself with a mild cheese. Show more
