Important Notes: This product is built to order and has a 3-4 week lead time. This kit is not compatible with aftermarket front mount intercoolers. Install requires drilling, cutting and rivnuts. Review the videos in this listing and the install video here. This chassis mounted splitter is perfect for street and show cars looking for something more durable than a bumper mounted lip. It also adds a small amount of downforce compared to a factory vehicle based on CFD simulation. It can balance our rear swan neck wing by adding canards, endplates, a hood vent and subframe panel. Quick Release: The quick release pulls are mounted under the hood. Installing the blade requires lifting it up, then sliding back to latch in place. Latching requires some force, see video. Removal is done one side at a time - Pull the cable, slide the blade forward, repeat on the opposite side. Then pull the blade off. There is a quick video of the install and removal process at the end of the bracket install video here. Other common questions: Each kit comes with two drill bits for install - a step bit, and 13.5mm for the rivnuts. You will need additional tools and supplies for install. The blade has predrilled and countersunk holes for the air dam, and brackets. Assembly required for the air dam. You will need a rivnut tool for install - not included. The brackets come in raw aluminum unless powder coating option is selected. Expect some visible imperfections in the material from the cutting and bending process on raw aluminum parts. The blade and air dam will be black with either kit. If you are on air ride, do not air-out onto these brackets, they are not designed to support the weight of an entire vehicle. Trimming the factory splash guard under the bumper, fender liners and subframe panel is required for install - see video at the end of picture list. The brackets are not height adjustable. The blade sits ~1" / 25mm below the factory bottom bumper tray. This kit weighs ~32lbs/15kg.
