"A Quiet Devotion" 52cm x 80cm, including frame Original Artwork by Artist Tia Carrigan Acrylic and oil stick on cotton canvas, framed in a vintage screen print frame - ready to hang, d-rings. ----- "Known for their lifelong pairing, these two Pale head rosellas are wrapped in delicately scented boronia (representing quiet pleasures) native iris (a reminder of emphemeral beauty and to be present) with a depiction of the sun for it's vitality and courage. This painting is a reminder of the power of loyalty and love, and the small pleasures we can easily access to live a life of presence." ----- *Please note the artwork frames were once working screen print frames and, as such, are each imperfect and come with their own unique look which includes one or more of the following: old paint, labels and writing, dents, marks and chips, exposed heads of staples, nails and screws, and general delicious imperfect mess and decades of creative history. When framing these artworks, they are representative of all the contrasts we possess as humans and that many truths can occur at once.
