The center has an open arc, wide and deep center section for power generation, hangtime and lift. The wingtips are more closed and almost in a straight line and squared off like on a C kite. This creates a very fast responding kite with quick pivotal turning ideal for kiteloops, double loops, S-loops and other new school big air trick. 3 Strut Design Reduces the weight of the kite and improves performance. Due to the compact shape of the kite, and high quality of materials, the kite has optimal strength to weight ratio and canopy tension with three struts only. Dacron frame With introduction of TerTex material, the Dacron frame has been completely redesigned. Heavy duty Dacron leading edge and wintip reinforcements create the backbone of all CrazyFly kites. The heavy duty Dacron frame ensures the best strength to weight ratio and makes the kite much more rigid, correctly shaped, stronger and durable. This results in amazing flight stability, more dynamic reactions to rider input and explosive boosts. Two step leading edge arc The two step leading edge arc provides the best of both worlds. The curved center section generates power, lift and hangtime while the straight tips of the kite provide pivotal fast turning and response of the kite. Triplex Exclusive to CrazyFly, Triplex is the most advanced ripstop material on the market. Triplex has by far the best strength to weight ratio and with triple coating its durability is unmatched. The coating protects the fabric from UV rays, salt and abrasive objects, such as sand. Triple coating and three ripstop yarns ensure the lowest possible elongation and deterioration of the material till date. Features Airlock valve II Press to play For 2026 we introduced a brand new innovation, the Airlock Valve II. It is the first valve ever used in kites without any welding and without any glue to attach the valve to the bladder. The valve is attached to the bladder only with a mechanical bond. It is stronger and more durable than the previous version and holds more pressure. The Airlock II is a stand up paddle type valve with click and turn inflate and deflate function. Push down and turn to deflate. Turn to release in the upper position for inflation. The Airlock II is backwards compatible with all CrazyFly kites since 2021. It works with the same pump adapter as the previous valve version. Nuke bridle modes Two in one. The Nuke kite offers two riding modes: Allround and Nuking. The selection is made on one of the bridle line connection to the leading edge of the kite. There are two connection points to switch between these riding modes. From the factory, the Nuke kite is set to the Allround mode, which is on the longer 20cm pigtail. In this mode, the Nuke kite turns smoother, has easy depower control, better hang time and smooth megaloops. The Allround mode is better suited for intermediate riders, as it is more forgiving and suggested for lighter wind conditions. We also recommend this mode for old school freestyle, freeride and waves.The Nuking mode is for strong wind conditions and provides more stability, great pop, lighter bar pressure and perfect slack control. The kite is more powerful in megaloops and we suggest this mode for the best new school big air experience. To select the Nuking mode, simply disconnect the bridle line from the 20cm pigtail and connect it to the 10cm pigtail hanging from the leading edge of the kite.In both modes the Nuke kite works great for kiteloops. It is up to the rider which mode he or she prefers more. Swim Proof Pulleys Top quality pulleys from Ronstan ensure 100% safety in open waters. The Swim Proof Pulley has a line going through, so even in the rare case of emergency when the plastic breaks the kite is still connected with the lines. The kite is able to fly at all times, which makes it 100% safe to ride in open waters. TerTex TerTex material is used on all 2026 CrazyFly kites. It is two times stronger than our Triplex triple ripstop and at the same time TerTex is forty percent lighter than the Dacron material we use. Applied on all side struts, wingtips and over the central strut of all 2026 CrazyFly kites, TerTex radically reduces kite weight. Lighter kites have better low end, move faster through the air, are easier to relaunch and turn quicker. TerTex also increases the wind range, as low end performance is increased, because the lighter kite is still able to fly in lighter winds. Fibra shields Fibra sits at the top of abrasion resistant textiles. This high tech fabric made in Italy can handle plenty of abuse without getting damaged. The official number is 100 000 contacts with an abrasive surface before the material starts deteriorating. This is why we selected Fibra as the most suitable material to protect CrazyFly kites in the most abused areas and increased the size of the Fibra abrasion resistant patches.
