After more than 40 years of making sails on Maui, we’ve learned what survives the elements. That’s why there is no monofilm in a Cheetah. Monofilm becomes brittle and fails; we replace it with materials that stay light and strong: Scrim and Dyneema-reinforced X-Ply Technora-reinforced laminates RBS epoxy battens (the strongest in the world) Every seam is glued, covered, and then stitched.
