Why You Need the Timberdoodle Handbook The curriculum gives you the materials. The Handbook shows you how to put them together into a school year. Designed specifically for each Timberdoodle Curriculum Kit, this softcover, easy-to-handle Handbook (8" × 8") helps you understand what each resource is for, how to schedule it, and how to make the most of everything in your kit. Instead of sorting through dozens of teacher manuals to figure out where to begin, you'll have one practical guide that keeps the big picture in view. Inside, you'll find brief introductions to every curriculum component, helpful implementation tips, a flexible Reading Challenge tailored to your child's grade, and access to the Timberdoodle Online Scheduler. Together, they help you spend less time planning and more time teaching. The Online Scheduler lets you customize your homeschool around your family's life. Adjust your start date, add vacation weeks, include outside classes, and print a schedule that fits your calendar instead of forcing your family into someone else's. A sample weekly schedule in the Handbook helps you get started right away. The Reading Challenge provides structure without locking you into a required book list. Choose the reading level that best fits your child, then select books that match his interests while building a consistent reading habit throughout the year. Every Handbook is included free with Timberdoodle Pre-Built Curriculum Kits and Custom Curriculum Kits. If you're purchasing one separately, it includes the same Online Scheduler access but is designed specifically for that grade's Timberdoodle curriculum rather than as a general guide to homeschooling. Because of the proprietary nature of the Handbook and Online Scheduler, Handbooks purchased separately are non-returnable. The Handbook keeps your homeschool organized from the first week to the last, giving you practical guidance, flexible planning tools, and the confidence to make the most of your Timberdoodle curriculum.
