Inspired by the Regency era and named after influential characters in the Mill's past, these exclusive edition ribbons have been designed and woven at the Mill, breathing new life into the critically endangered craft of silk ribbon weaving. Our highly skilled team of Weaver Tacklers have wound, warped and woven these beautiful silk ribbons using traditional skills and our historical machinery; before trimming each ribbon individually by hand. 1m piece of the Maddick ribbon pictured, width approx. 6.5cm - length 1m. Whitchurch Silk is woven using traditional techniques and historic machinery, as such it is possible that from time to time some characteristics of the loom may be present in our silks.
