DESCRIPTION This coat no longer has its label, so we cannot say who produced it. However, we can confidently state that it is of Swedish origin. It is made from medium-weight dark grey wool twill fabric, sourced from Joseph Sykes, Huddersfield, England. Many Swedish producers used their fabrics for coats during this time. The coat is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps, and there is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight with a vent. It is fully lined inside and has two inner pockets, one on each side. The condition of the coat is generally good, with the only sign of use being some wear on the buttonholes.
