DESCRIPTION This coat has no labels whatsoever, so it is not possible to determine who produced it. However, by examining it closely, we can still draw a few conclusions. It is almost certainly of Swedish origin and made sometime during the 1940s or 1950s. All indications suggest that it is bespoke. It is made from a black wool fabric with a subtle twill structure. The fabric is somewhat lighter than what we usually see in coats from this period, especially considering the style, which further supports the idea that it was tailor-made. The coat is single-breasted with a concealed fastening and closes with four buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight with a vent. The interior is fully lined and features an inside pocket on each side, both with a closure. The condition of the coat is essentially perfect; there are no defects worth mentioning. Please study the photographs and form your own impression of the condition. SIZE In terms of size, it corresponds to a modern EU 46–48 (US/UK 36–38). Please scroll down for the exact measurements.
