Description The Knightsbridge 20AX intermediate grid toggle module provides multi-way switching capability within the Knightsbridge modular grid system. The module clips into standard grid mounting frames (sold separately) from the front, allowing switches to be built up in 1-gang, 2-gang, 3-gang or larger configurations. The intermediate function works alongside standard 1-way and 2-way modules to control a single light from three or more switch positions. Designed for residential and commercial lighting installations where lights need to be controlled from multiple locations — such as staircases with switches at top, middle and bottom, or long corridors with switches at each end and in the centre. The 20AX rating handles lighting circuits up to 4,600W on 230V mains, which covers most domestic and commercial lighting loads including LED, halogen and fluorescent. The module body is constructed from steel and ABS, with an anthracite finish on the toggle and faceplate.
