This 20 oz vessel, the larger of our two mugs, has double row stitching along the handle and the bottom, giving it some extra flare and adding to the sturdy 4 thickness handle. Our leather drinking vessels are lined with a black brewers pitch that will safely hold your cold beverages. All of the leather vessels are handmade by us, thus each has its own character. Leather drinking vessels have been around since about 1030 AD and spanned through the 18th century, with some styles even extending into the early 19th century.
