This product is a pair of cups in a traditional style, lacquered with the beautiful colors. Yamanaka lacquerware is made in Yamanaka hot springs area of Kaga City in Ishikawa Prefe cture. Its history began in the 16th century and has developed by inviting skillful craftsmen from Kyoto or other production areas in Japan since the 19th century. The wooden vessel can keep warmth and hot drink does not get cold easily. Even if hot drink is put in it, the outside is not so hot and easy to hold. It is handmade one by one. Please note that the grain of wood and the color of lacquer may have slight difference between the images and the actual product.
