The print is printed in late years using original woodblocks carved in Meiji period. ■ Artist Takashima Chiharu 1780-1859 Takashima Chiharu is a painter in the late Edo period. He was born in Osaka. He went to Kyoto and learned Tosa school painting. He also went to Tokyo and studied painting more from old paintings. ■ Description KOCHOU In year 906 (Year Engi 6), when retired emperor UDA observed the Junior Sumo wrestling, the music was made by Fujiwara no Tadafusa(Head of the area Yamashiro, dance is made by Shikinobu kyo Atsumi Imperial Prince.
