Michael di Cosola This mid 20th century pastel abstracted work is by Abstract Surrealist San Francisco artist Michael di Cosola (1929-2010). Di Cosola studied at the Chicago Art In stitute before moving to the Bay Area to study at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. He had a studio in North Beach during the height of the neighborhood's art scene and exhibited at several Bay Area art galleries in the 1960s. Di Cosola is known for psychedelic, Surrealist portraiture and abstractions. Mid-Late 20th Century Pastel on Paper 16.5"x19.5" unframed Estate stamped lower left. Framed in contemporary wood frame with a silver finish using archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Excellent vintage condition. Show more
