Three cards.Three participants. One deck. What happens next hits fast—and keeps hitting. Holding Pattern isn’t just a trick. It’s a chain reaction. Three different cards are freely selected and lost in the deck. You spread the cards… and one turns face up by itself. The first revelation lands clean. You smile and say, “It’s all done.” That’s when it gets interesting. With a flick, the face-up card is now holding the second selection. Another flick—and now the second card is holding the third. One card… holding another… holding another. Exactly as promised. The effect is startling, visual, and completely unexpected—and the best part? It’s shockingly easy to perform. The custom Holding Pattern gimmick lives invisibly in your deck and does the heavy lifting, ready whenever you are. You’ll also receive a full instructional video by Erik Tait, packed with bonus routines, clever forces, and strong mentalism applications. Included is Alvo’s “double-insurance” routine—a brilliant sequence where you appear to fail twice and still finish with a knockout ending. Sleek. Sneaky. Memorable. Holding Pattern packs flat, plays big, and leaves your audience with an impossible object they’ll talk about long after the cards are put away. Add it to your deck—and get ready to astonish them three times over.
