A rare and superb solid wood Judas dining table by Finn Juhl. Manufactured by Niels Vodder, the table features an expandable oval top (no leaves). Round silver inlays accents float ing on a sculptural and architectural base with turned dowel legs. Made in Denmark, circa 1950s. Finn Juhl was first and foremost famous for his furniture before working with interiors and as an exhibition architect. In the 1940s, he broke with the established furniture tradition and designed a number of creations that regenerated Danish furniture design. At the Milan Triennials in the 1950s, he was awarded five gold medals and won international acclaim for his furniture. Show more
