Lagerstroemia Canopy™ is a compact and colourful deciduous shrub specially bred by Ozbreed for Australian gardens. The crepe myrtle's luscious wine-dark foliage provides a striking contrast to the burgundy-pink flowers that appear throughout summer. Canopy™ has a wide, spreading habit and reaches above head height, making it excellent for privacy hedging or as a small feature tree. Prune in autumn following leaf drop to encourage prolific summer flowering and a dense growth habit, or deadhead after the first flush to maintain an elegant shape and encourage repeat blooming.
