REQUIREMENTS NOTES & REQUIREMENTS: We are only tuning Stage 2 Whipple's with the 132mm throttle body. All 2021-2023 Whipple trucks require the Whipple tune for tuning. HP Tuners MPVI2/2+/3/4 or RTD4 with 4 Credits is required. RTD, RTD+, and RTD3 devices are NOT supported. (RTD3 can be used if you have sent your PCM into HP Tuners previously for their unlock service). Windows 10+ laptop required. All Forced Induction tunes will require extensive datalogging which requires a Windows 10+ based laptop. Instructions will be provided, but you will need to be comfortable with downloading and emailing file attachments to complete the tuning process. (Remote dyno tuning is available. Click here for details) Forced induction tunes require premium fuel (91 octane or higher) and are built for a SINGLE FUEL OCTANE. After purchasing your tune you must fill out a complete Tune Form before we can build your base tune. CREDITS HP TUNERS CREDITS: 2018+ Ford F150's requires 4 HP Tuners Credits. Options B & C includes these 4 Credits. Credits are the currency used by HP Tuners to purchase licenses for tuning specific vehicles. A license is tied to three key pieces of information: VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) Serial Number of the controller Operating System (OS) on the controller Once a vehicle is licensed, your HP Tuners interface device can write modified tune files back to that specific vehicle. POLICIES TUNING POLICIES: All Forced Induction tuning services are time-limited and include up to 30 days of datalog reviews and tuning to complete the tuning process. Upon completion of the tuning process, there will be a 15 day period for post-tune evaluation and testing of the vehicle. During this period, you may request any preference based adjustment or additional datalog reviews to personalize the tune to your preference. These adjustments are meant to finalize the tune and verify that the vehicle is functioning as intended after tuning. This period does not include tune adjustments for adding parts or changing tire size as those would be considered modifications and would require purchasing a tune adjustment. During the tuning process for Forced Induction tunes, a tune will be considered "complete" if no follow-up contact is received from the customer within 15 days of receiving a tune revision. This is to prevent delays in the tuning process that extend the wait period for other customers’ tune requests. If for any reason you will not be able to complete a datalogging request within 15 days of receiving a tune revision, you should advise the calibrator that is working on your tune, and we will move your tune out of the working queue until you are able to continue tuning. This allows us to move another customer into your tuning slot and reduces wait times. If you advise us that you will not be able to complete a log request on time, you will NOT be required to purchase a tuning window extension to continue the tuning process so long as no more than 45 days have passed since your last tune revision. Should your tuning window expire for any of the above reasons, you will be asked to purchase a tuning window extensions through the website to "reset" your tuning window and claim your spot in the waiting list. There are two options available to extend your tuning window, 15 and 30 days. You can choose which option fits your schedule better and once your tune is moved back into the working queue, your 15 or 30 day tuning window will start. Whether you choose a 15 or 30 day tuning window extension, all of the policies mentioned above will apply just as they applied during your original tuning window.
