The bamboo material will change over time as you use it. It is better to use it a lot than to store it away, as it will be better ventilated and less likely to get moldy. When soiled, it can be washed with water using a sponge. After washing in water, remove water droplets with a cloth, turn the bottom over, or hang it in a shady, well-ventilated place to dry thoroughly. Wiping with rubbing ethanol will help to sterilize the product and prevent mold. Please make sure to dry it thoroughly.
