Allow candle to melt to the edge of the vessel when lighting for the first time. This will prevent future tunneling. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets. Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects. Keep away from drafts and curtains.
