Soma The Pipe is a dynamic and expressive playable synthesiser and effects processor controlled by the voice, breath and mouth movement. The digital synthesiser transforms speech, singing, breathing, humming or beatboxing into bass, lead sounds, rhythms and abstract soundscapes. The twelve algorithms Orpheus, Filterra, Synth, Reverb, Madelay, Pulse, Bassdrum (three variants), Octava, Generator and Harcho have been optimised especially for use with the microphone and offer an amazing sound spectrum. Besides volume and algorithm, there are only three knobs and four buttons with which The Pipe is played.
