Stevie's Dad found this 650 year old groat coin with his metal detector. It's a silver Edward III fourpence coin minted between 1351-1361. I set the coin inside a gold frame to pro tect it and gave this a matt finish as the coin is to old to look right with a polished edge. The claws are also oxidised to help the antique look like it just came out the ground. Show more
