This listing is the OX/no-sponge version, giving direct contact for close-table hitting, blocking and spin variation. SHORT PIMPLESOX / No SpongeClose TableFast Attack Why Choose 729 802 OX? Classic Short-Pips GeometryDesigned for direct hitting and taking the ball early. Spin VariationMore friction than many short pips, allowing useful serve and push variation. Direct OX FeelNo sponge gives immediate blade feedback and a low, flat response. Performance & Playing Characteristics Speed8.0/10 Spin4.7/10 Control6.7/10 Disruption6.7/10 Friendship's published 802 figures are Speed 12, Spin 7 and Control 10 on its 15-point scale; TT Hub converts them proportionally to /10. Disruption is a TT Hub specialist rating for how strongly the pimple geometry, spin reversal/reduction, trajectory and bounce can make the return awkward. It is not a manufacturer rating and varies with blade, sponge, stroke and incoming spin. Who Is It For? Best for short-pips players who attack and block close to the table, including traditional penhold styles.
