Château Bel Air is a small family estate in l’Entre-Deux-Mers, AOC Bordeaux. It has a 20 hectare vineyard with southern exposure, 16 hectares used for private production and 4 for a cooperative. Bottled by Schroder & Schÿler, owners of Château Kirwan. The wine is 50 percent Merlot and 50 percent Cabernet Franc, aged six months in steel tanks. Vines grow in clay limestone soil. Tasting Note: This wine reveals a rich bouquet of dark fruits, including plum and blackberry, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and a balanced acidity, offering flavors of black cherry, chocolate, and sweet spices. The finish is long and savory, with hints of cedar and a touch of minerality. ---------------------- Region: Bordeaux Variety: Merlot, Cabernet Franc Rating: Not Rated
