It has an enviable pedigree that reaches back to a time when this wine was envisioned without oak barrel aging. Letting the noble grape speak of its place of origin without the cloak of oak interfering with its voice was always the goal. This expressive, dry Chardonnay offers notes of Bosc pear, crisp Mutsu apple and undertones of honeydew melon. The delicious array is set against a background of fresh lemon juice and lime zest. With one sip, the sparky energy of the bold acidity is clearly apparent, and the playful soul of the wine is revealed.
