It holds a working edge far longer through abrasive material, and it wants diamond stones when it finally goes. The "BK" in 533BK-1 refers to the black blade coating, not the handle. The 533BK-1 is a white Grivory handle with a black Cerakote blade. Weight is not constant across the range. The 1.5 oz figure everyone quotes applies to Grivory and CF-Elite. Carbon fiber runs 1.62 oz and the Woodland Green aluminum is 2.0 oz — still light, but a third heavier than the base model.
