The ASPR LC Head Expanded Coat model combines the brightness of a plastic head with the texture of a genuine leather head for pure vibration. The "annealed film" has the property o f stretching more uniformly in all directions, resulting in pure head vibration, and the coating is Asapura's unique "expanded coat" which creates a porous surface, unlike conventional coatings that use attached particles. It has a slightly wet texture and a natural feel reminiscent of the surface of genuine leather. Each head is handmade in Japan, further enhancing the characteristics of the film and coating, making it easier to tune and providing a pleasant overtone feeling at both high and low pitches.
