The two stainless steel housing halves use ABUS Diskus® Deep-Welding Technology and are hand-welded at the seam, so the halves cannot be forced apart. The Diskus® design works differently from a conventional padlock. The disk shape limits shackle exposure to a small opening, making bolt-cutter and prying attacks significantly harder to execute.
