A fruited wine of real finesse with an intense aroma of ripe orchard fruits. The body is full with a delicious, creamy character and this is countered by a fresh, citrus quality on a long finish. 2016 Vintage Scores: 2017 Wine Enthusiast Best Buys of the Year #39 This is a southern and warmer take on Alvarinho than is found in northern Portugal. It brings out the ripe perfumed character of the grape. Apricot and golden plums show both the fruit and the generous texture. Drink this wine starting from late 2017. Wine Enthusiast: 90 Points Staff Review: Not a far jump from a pinot grigio, this brightly acidic and balanced Portuguese white wine is off-dry, carrying notes of melon, apple and citrus. Pair with a spring salad from The Market for a nice evening!
